GAZA — On Friday, Ahmed Al-Kahlout, the director of Civil
Defense in Northern Gaza, addressed the issue of bodies of the deceased are
decomposing under the rubble. This situation is attributed to the challenging
access caused by the scarcity of resources and the ongoing Israeli aggression
in the Gaza Strip.

He explained that Civil Defense's available resources are
limited, with inadequate machinery for the operation. The extraction of bodies
necessitates the use of traditional tools and manual labor due to the Israeli
aggression, Al Mamlaka TV reported.
He emphasized that Northern Gaza is densely populated, with
buildings in close proximity. Furthermore, he revealed that more than 15 civil
defense personnel had lost their lives during the Israeli aggression,
emphasizing that the Israeli occupation specifically targeted these personnel
while they were carrying out their duties in the western region of northern
Gaza.
