GAZA – On Monday, the Civil Defense in Gaza appealed to the
international community, the UN, and the
Arab League to provide relief for
thousands of displaced citizens in the southern Rafah area of the Gaza Strip.
Many of these citizens are facing infectious diseases due to extremely poor
shelter conditions.

Mahmoud Basal, the spokesperson for the Civil Defense,
confirmed that the displaced citizens in the Rafah region are enduring severe
hardships. They live amidst cold weather, food scarcity, and the constant fear
of Israeli airstrikes, Khaberni reported.
He emphasizes that the
Civil Defense teams will be incapable
of responding to the calls and pleas of citizens, which could result in the
loss of thousands of lives. The IOF's destruction has severely limited the
abilities of Civil Defense teams, and the lack of hospitals and other service
facilities has made the situation worse.
