TEL AVIV – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that the Gaza Strip will be disarmed and under Israeli control after teh supposed defeat of Hamas.

He called the war exisentential and said it must continue until Hamas was eliminated and abductees were freed adding that military pressure was necessary to free the captives and achieve victory.
“We are engaging in fierce battles in Jabalia and Shuja'iya, where we lost some of our fighters,” he said.
“We will not repeat the Oslo mistake, and we will not allow, once again, an environment where Palestinian children are raised with a culture of eliminating Israel.”
“We won't discuss negotiation details, but we support our position against the enemy with more blood and fire.”
Netanyahu also stated that Israel would aim to establish deterrence against Hezbollah in the north, either through a political process or other means.
