Gaza seeks safe passages for surgery patients amid IOF hospital siege

GAZA — On Sunday, the Gaza Ministry of Health requested a safe passage for injured patients requiring nerve surgery from Nasser Hospital to the nearby Jordanian Field Hospital in Khan Yunis, Al-Ghad reported.اضافة اعلان

The Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, in southern Gaza, has been under Israeli siege for several days. For more than 6 days, Israel Occupation Forces (IOF) airstrikes have targeted civilians and health institutions near Nasser Hospital and Al-Amal Hospital, which is linked with the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

The PRCS warned of a "real catastrophe" at Nasser Hospital as a result of the IOF "cutting off medical, health, and food supplies, as well as all the requirements and resources for medical work."
