Germany Allocates 300 Million Euros to Support Syria
German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock announced that Berlin has committed to providing 300 million euros in aid to Syria.

Speaking on the sidelines of an EU Foreign Ministers' meeting in Brussels, Baerbock said, "There can be no peaceful future for Syria without an inclusive political process," pledging an additional 300 million euros in aid to Syria.اضافة اعلان

She emphasized that the peaceful reconstruction of the country is a "serious task," noting that Germany will provide "300 million euros to the United Nations and selected organizations for this peaceful process and for the benefit of the Syrian people and the people of the region."

According to the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry will provide 168 million euros of the total amount, while 133 million euros will come from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.

More than half of these funds will benefit the Syrian people, with additional funds allocated to support Syrian refugees and host communities in Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Turkey.

The European Union is holding a donor conference on Syria today, Monday, in Brussels, offering Europeans an opportunity to strengthen international mobilization to support the war-torn country, which has been in conflict for more than a decade.

For the first time, representatives from the Damascus government will attend this ninth donor conference. Syrian Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad will represent his country in Brussels, on the sidelines of a meeting of EU Foreign Ministers.
