Minister Nancy Faeser said in a statement, "As for Hamas, the activities of a terrorist organization aimed at destroying the state of Israel are completely banned today."

She also mentioned that the German branch of the Samidoun network will be dissolved.

"The international network operates under the guise of a solidarity group with prisoners to spread anti-Israel and anti-Semitic propaganda,” Faeser said.

The Samidoun Network works to defend Palestinian prisoners in Israeli occupation prisons.
