GAZA – Khaberni reported on Tuesday that international and Israeli newspapers continue to monitor the developments of the war on Gaza, its repercussions on internal and global scales, and the decision of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) to withdraw some of its units from Gaza.اضافة اعلان

A report from Time magazine quoted a former IOF official saying that changing the status of Israeli forces and withdrawing some of them from Gaza may be the result of US pressure.

As for the New York Times, it linked the withdrawal of some Israeli forces from Gaza to the increasing economic burdens in Israel. It also pointed to experts’ expectations of a recession in the Israeli economy during 2024.

Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth, considered Israel’s Central Bank’s decision to reduce the interest rate “surprising and contrary to expectations” after avoiding taking the step in previous years. The decision came directly due to the war and the growing fears of inflation in light of the tensions with the Houthis in the Red Sea.

This tension prompted the US to enter the armed confrontation in the Red Sea, and the Washington Post reported that this would affect the global economy and exacerbate the crisis of maritime shipping around the world. In their report, maritime transport experts stated that accompanying each cargo ship with warships is practically impossible.

The Israeli newspaper, Haaretz, shed light on the destruction left behind by Israeli bombs in Gaza. They reported the complete annihilation of Palestinian families and mentioned that about 1,800 families lost many of their members due to the continuous bombing. Then it monitored the difficult living conditions that forced most family members to live together in one house.
