"The attacks by Hamas did not come out of nowhere,” he said at a security council meeting in New York.


“The Palestinian people have suffered 56 years of suffocating occupation, the seizure of their land for settlements, violence, economic hardship, and the displacement of people."

According to Al-Mamlaka, Guterres warned that the Israeli war on Gaza could spread to the entire region.
