The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expressed its great appreciation for the positions adopted by Jordan and Egypt in rejecting any plans aimed at the displacement of the Palestinian people.

Hamas confirmed that there is an Arab movement to rebuild the Gaza Strip without undermining the rights of its residents or forcing them into involuntary displacement.
In a press statement on Wednesday, the movement pointed out that Jordan's stance against displacement is part of its long-standing position in rejecting resettlement projects and alternative homeland schemes, which aim to erase Palestinian identity and end the just national cause.
Hamas also praised the positions of Arab countries and the international community that expressed their rejection of any actions aimed at displacing Palestinians or liquidating their national rights. The movement emphasized that the Palestinian people will remain steadfast in their land and will not accept any solutions that undermine their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
