In a press statement, the office said: "We mourn with pride and deep reverence to our great Palestinian people, our Arab and Islamic nation, and all free people of the world, a group of government leaders in Gaza. Among them are the martyred leader, Issam al-Dallis, Head of Government Work Follow-up, the martyred leader and legal advisor Ahmed al-Hitta, Deputy Minister of Justice, the martyred leader Major General Mahmoud Abu Wafa, Deputy Minister of Interior, and the martyred leader Major General Bahjat Abu Sultan, Director General of the Internal Security Service."

The office noted that they were martyred after being directly targeted by Israeli warplanes along with their families. They, along with hundreds of other martyrs, were killed in ongoing Israeli attacks since the early hours of today.

The statement emphasized that the martyrdom of these government leaders would not deter them from fulfilling their national duty toward the Palestinian people, and that they would continue their religious, moral, and professional role in serving them and supporting their steadfastness in the face of this barbaric aggression.

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of over 400 people due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes since the early hours of today on the Gaza Strip.

Israel launched new airstrikes across Gaza, vowing to "escalate military force" after stalled negotiations with Hamas over the release of more hostages.
