GAZA — On Saturday, the Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh stated that Hamas has responded constructively to the mediators' efforts to halt Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, affirming that Hamas demands a complete cessation of aggression, withdrawal of the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), lifting the siege, providing shelter for the displaced, ending starvation policies, and committing to reconstruction, all in alignment with humanitarian requirements and international consensus.اضافة اعلان

During a press release, Haniyeh stated that Hamas has shown flexibility in dealing with the issues, but Israel continues to maneuver and procrastinate in matters concerning Palestinians, focusing on the release of captives in Gaza, Al-Ghad reported.

Furthermore, he emphasized that achieving a prisoner exchange deal, especially for veteran and high-sentenced Palestinian prisoners, is a key goal of the negotiations.

Haniyeh reiterated that Hamas approaches current negotiations positively and is firmly committed to upholding the sacrifices of the Palestinian people and the achievements of the resistance. He further stressed that Hamas will utilize all available means to halt Israel's ongoing war against civilians in the strip.
