DWB expressed concern about the severe lack of
surgical capacity at
Nasser Hospital, making it nearly non-existent. The
organization highlighted the situation of 300 to 500 individuals with serious
injuries who could not be evacuated due to danger and a shortage of ambulances.
Moreover, there are only eight hospitals
remaining opened in the strip out of the 36 before the war, and they are
operating at partial capacity. The
Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported a
complete power outage at the hospital, resulting in the shutdown of all medical
equipment, including respiratory devices.
