GAZA
— The recent
heavy rains have intensified the already challenging situation in
Gaza. Humanitarian workers express significant concern about the worsening
health conditions, particularly with the continuous Israeli airstrikes in the
north, center, and south of the region.

According
to the
United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs,
numerous areas in Gaza are now submerged, further complicating the
circumstances for displaced individuals. The Palestinian News Agency
"WAFA" reports that approximately 1.9 million
people in Gaza have
been compelled to evacuate their homes. More than half of them sought refuge in
Rafah in the south, though this area has not been immune to Israeli airstrikes
and ground incursions, Al-Ghad reported.
The
situation remains dire, and agencies are closely monitoring developments.
