According to the Jerusalem Governorate, groups of settlers entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in successive waves through the Moroccan Gate and performed Talmudic rituals.

The Israeli police imposed tight security measures, turning the mosque and its surroundings into a military zone, and prevented many Palestinian worshippers from entering. They also confiscated ID cards at the mosque’s outer gates.

Yesterday, Tuesday, more than 1,220 settlers participated in a mass raid on the mosque, during which rituals were also performed.

The extremist group "The Temple Mount is in Our Hands" launched promotional campaigns to encourage settlers to storm the Al-Aqsa Mosque. These campaigns included discounted transportation, free guided tours, and what they termed “central storming days” during the Passover holiday.
