GAZA — On Monday,
journalist Abdullah Iyad Brees, along with several family members, tragically
lost their lives when their home in the Khan Younis camp was bombed by Israeli
airstrikes. Additionally, the mother, sister, and nephews of Arab TV correspondent
Ahmed Al-Batta were also victims of the ongoing Israeli bombardment on the Gaza
Strip, deliberately targeting journalists and their families.

On Sunday,
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) killed
Hamza Dahdouh, the son of Al Jazeera’s Wael
Dahdouh, and fellow journalist Mustafa Thuraya in an air raid in southern Gaza.
According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, as of Saturday, at least 70
Palestinian journalists and media workers have been killed in Gaza. However,
the number could be over 100, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.
