Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara is heading to the United Arab Emirates, marking his second visit to a Gulf state since taking office.
According to Syria’s state news agency SANA on Sunday, President Al-Shara is accompanied by Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Shibani, who had previously visited the UAE earlier this year.

SANA reported:
“President of the Republic Mr. Ahmad Al-Shara and Foreign Minister Mr. Asaad Al-Shibani are heading to the United Arab Emirates to discuss a number of shared issues between the two countries.”
