TEL AVIV – On Sunday, Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu affirmed that the Israeli Occupation Forces
(IOF) will proceed with a planned ground attack on Rafah in southern Gaza
despite warnings that it could result in a significant number of casualties.

During a cabinet meeting,
Netanyahu stated, “No amount of international pressure will prevent us from
achieving all the goals of the war… and to do so, we will also move into
Rafah,” Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The situation remains tense,
and the Israeli Prime Minister has described the latest Hamas ceasefire
proposal as “ridiculous.” Meanwhile, a delegation led by Mossad’s spy chief is
heading to Qatar for truce negotiations.
