Sharjah, September 3, 2024 – As part of its commitment to enhancing effective government communication and opening new avenues for innovation, the Media Office of the Government of Sharjah is hosting the 13th edition of the International Government Communication Forum. The event will take place on September 4th and 5th at the Sharjah Expo Center, under the theme "Agile Governments... Innovative Communication." This year’s forum will feature prominent leaders presenting in-depth insights on key issues related to the future of education, talent, and the economy.

The forum will explore how national media can act as a driving force for prosperity through what is described as the "Symphony of Prosperity," highlighting the role of media in community development and positive sectoral interaction. Additionally, it will emphasize the role of teachers as "Engineers of Creative Generations," focusing on how to prepare future generations to face contemporary challenges and inspire them with innovation and creativity.
The event will also provide a platform for discussing the "Japanese Message to World Governments," where Japanese experts will offer insights on improving government communication strategies to address global challenges through innovative models. Furthermore, the forum will examine how Arab talents can contribute to "Elevating Global Communication," emphasizing the role of Arab ingenuity in enhancing international communication and fostering new collaboration opportunities.
In its concluding sessions, the forum will address "The Emirati Genome Towards a Healthy Future," where Dr. Ahmed Al Awadi will present the latest developments in genomics and their impact on improving public health and individual well-being in the UAE, contributing to economic support and enhanced quality of life.
Through these discussions, the forum aims to integrate global and local ideas to develop innovative strategies that promote sustainable development and community well-being.
