TEL AVIV — The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that the
occupation has recently acquired artificial intelligence media systems to shape
global public opinion. This move comes after what the newspaper described as a
significant failure to defend its narrative during the
Gaza war.

The newspaper stated that the purchase of this system was
motivated by the need to "confront anti-Semitism and counter the
misinformation spread by Hamas,” Khaberni reported.
Israeli defense and intelligence agencies reportedly
recognized, shortly after Oct. 7, that they were losing the online battle
against what they referred to as "Hamas's well-equipped psychological and
informational warfare machinery." Consequently, they quietly obtained
digital tools to counteract misinformation.
According to Haaretz, the first campaign created through
this system has now been activated online."
