Khatib said that the prevention of Palestinians, especially Jerusalemites, from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque is an escalation measure taken hours before the provocative “flag march” that will be led by Israeli extremists, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The flag march was expected to start at 5pm.
Approximately 650 settlers forcefully entered the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque/Al-Haram Al-Sharif, under strict protection from the Israeli occupation police.
