TEL AVIV — The member of the Israeli
Security Cabinet,
Benny Gantz stated that Israel is approaching a stage where it might launch a
large-scale invasion into Lebanese territories to distance Hezbollah
from border settlements, Khaberni reported.

During a meeting with French Defense
Minister
Sebastien Lecornu, Gantz expressed gratitude for France's personal
support to Israel and conveyed thanks to President Emmanuel Macron for his
efforts regarding the return of captives. Gantz also discussed the evolving
situation in the
war on Gaza and the potential for escalation on the northern
borders, stating that Israel may need to conduct a comprehensive operation deep
within Lebanese territories.
Furthermore, Israeli Defense Minister,
Yuval Galant affirmed that Israel would not cease fire even if Hezbollah
stopped, cautioning that the war would be challenging for Israel but
devastating for Hezbollah and Lebanon.
Notably, Senior
Hezbollah Official, Ali
Damush emphasized that all threats, mediations, and messages conveyed to
Lebanon will not close the southern front.
