The
Israeli war cabinet has stated that any deal demanding a complete halt to the
fighting in Gaza will not be accepted, Al-Ghad reported.
Officials
in Tel Aviv have also mentioned that the previous negotiation outline of three
Palestinian prisoners per captive remains open for implementation, but they
claim that Hamas has yet to provide a list of captives' names to be released to
Egypt or Qatar.
According
to the Israeli outlet, a political official has denied reports of a deal that
included the release of senior officials imprisoned in Israel and a cessation
of aggressions on Gaza. It adds that Tel Aviv is interested in another exchange
for releasing captives and is pressing for favorable conditions for the deal to
materialize.
