TEL AVIV – The Israeli Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, and the Minister of Interior, Moshé Arbel, have decided to introduce a law in a swift legislative process that allows the revocation of citizenship or residency from individuals as part of the crackdown on Palestinian activists in the Arab towns in the areas of '48 and in occupied Jerusalem. اضافة اعلان

Khaberni reported that a joint statement issued by the Ministries of Justice and Interior,  stated this would apply to citizens "engaging in terrorism, supporting terrorism, inciting terrorism, or sympathizing with terrorist activities."

The statement mentioned that due to the state of war, it was agreed to expedite the legislation, stating that implementing such measures during wartime is considered a violation in severe and dangerous circumstances, and it enables the deprivation of the individual's citizenship or residency.
