"We are talking about a severe shortage
of medical supplies, drugs, especially those related to intensive care and surgeries, and
there is a severe shortage of medical devices, medical consumables, and
fracture-fixation medical tools due to a large number of bone fracture cases
resulting from the shelling," Hanjel said, according to Al-Mamlaka.
Hanjel pointed out that so far,
fuel is not allowed to enter Gaza, and this is an additional catastrophe on top of the
existing disasters.
"There are
12 hospitals that are no longer in service, either due to shelling or due to resource depletion, meaning
that 33% of Gaza's hospitals are currently not operational."
