Smotrich declared Israel's intention to enter Rafah, asserting that it will not
yield to international pressure.

Smotrich highlighted Israel's strong and close
relationship with the US, emphasizing that their military cooperation since the
beginning of the war has been unprecedented, Al-Ghad reported.
Furthermore, the Israeli newspaper Maariv
quoted Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, who stated,
"It is fortunate that Benjamin Netanyahu decided not to send a delegation
to Washington."
Ben Gvir added, "It has become evident
that waiting was a grave mistake, and we must now proceed to invade
Rafah."
