TEL AVIV – On Sunday, Israeli Minister of
Foreign Affairs
Yisrael Katz announced that Israel has relocated over a million
Palestinians from northern to southern regions and plans to further relocate
them westward before commencing the operation in Rafah, Amad reported.

Katz's statement came in response to
US President Joe Biden's remarks on Saturday, where Biden expressed deep concerns
about civilian casualties in Gaza and criticized Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu, accusing him of "Hurting Israel more than helping
Israel." Biden also labeled the planned
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF)
operation in Rafah, southern Gaza, as a 'red line.'
Katz said, “The US essentially supports
the goals of the war. Biden wants a plan for the evacuation of civilians from
Rafah before an invasion. To us that we need to evacuate them westward. This
will be carried out before the beginning of the operation and during it.”
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also
called on Israel to prepare a plan to evacuate the civilian population from the
city of Rafah in Gaza before any military operations take place there.
Notably, regional and international
warnings have escalated concerning Israeli shelling on Rafah, with preparations
underway to invade it on the ground. This escalation poses a significant danger
to hundreds of thousands of displaced people who sought
refuge in Rafah as
their last resort in the far south of the Strip.
