Israeli Army: Assassination in Southern Beirut Targeted Senior Hamas Member

According to Israel's Army Radio, citing security officials, the assassination operation that took place on Tuesday in southern Beirut targeted a senior member of Hamas while he was inside his vehicle.اضافة اعلان

Earlier, the Lebanese Civil Defense confirmed the death of a citizen as a result of an Israeli airstrike that hit a car on the Baawerta road in the Aley District, Mount Lebanon Governorate.

Official Lebanese media also reported that a drone had been seen flying in the area shortly before the vehicle was targeted.

In recent weeks, there has been a notable increase in targeted assassinations, affecting both Hezbollah operatives and Hamas members, amid escalating regional tensions.
