TEL AVIV – The Israeli Minister of Heritage, Amihai Eliyahu, launched a scathing attack on Palestinians and Islam on Friday, asserting that the term "Ramadan" must be eradicated. In an interview with Israeli Army Radio, he emphasized, "The term 'Ramadan' must be eradicated, along with our fears associated with this month."اضافة اعلان

Eliyahu has previously advocated for the bombing of Gaza with nuclear weapons, viewing it as "one of the options" for eliminating Hamas. Moreover, in a previous statement, he also advocated for finding more painful ways for Palestinians to die to break their morale and prevent them from regaining their strength. He added that he supports the idea of occupying the strip and establishing settlements, according to Khaberni.

Israel's war on Gaza has now entered its fifth month, with ongoing bombings amid a famine. International mediators are urgently seeking to broker a ceasefire before the start of Ramadan.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a decision by the extremist Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir, to restrict the entry of Palestinians from the interior and Jerusalem into the Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan. Meanwhile, Channel 12 Hebrew reported on Wednesday that the Israeli War Council withdrew the powers concerning decisions at the Al-Aqsa Mosque from Itamar Ben Gvir.

In response to this development, Ben Gvir has requested an urgent response and a denial of the news regarding the withdrawal of his powers from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu via a post on the X, formerly known as Twitter.
