The army's spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, shared a map of the areas affected by the orders and wrote in an accompanying statement: "Warning to all residents of the Gaza Strip who are in the area marked in red, specifically in the neighborhoods of Beit Hanoun, Khuza'a, Abasan al-Kabira, and Abasan al-Jadida."

He clarified that the designated areas are considered "dangerous combat zones," as the Israeli occupation army has launched a "strong attack against terrorist organizations."

The statement continued: "For your safety, evacuate immediately to the designated shelters in western Gaza City and those in Khan Younis."

The health authorities in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that the death toll has risen to more than 250 people due to the resumption of Israeli airstrikes, while Israel declared that its military campaign would expand "beyond" airstrikes.

Earlier, the health authorities in Gaza reported 254 deaths and over 440 injuries among those admitted to hospitals, adding that there are still victims trapped under rubble, and efforts are ongoing to rescue them.

These airstrikes come amid a deteriorating humanitarian situation in Gaza, with electricity and water shortages, closed border crossings, and a blockade on aid deliveries. This follows the end of the first phase of a ceasefire agreement, with no agreement reached on the terms of the second phase or an extension of the ceasefire.

The Israeli occupation army announced early Tuesday that it had begun targeting "Hamas-related objectives in Gaza." The army also released pictures of Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi, Shin Bet (Israel's internal security service) Director Ronen Bar, and Air Force Commander Tomer Bar, overseeing "intensive airstrikes on Hamas targets last night from the Air Force operations room." - Agencies
