The Israeli occupation forces released around 80 prisoners from Gaza on Thursday.
Local sources reported that several of the released prisoners arrived at the Al-Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

The sources pointed out that most of the released prisoners are elderly, with some unable to move and showing signs of torture.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners and Freed Prisoners Affairs Commission, more than 2,000 prisoners from Gaza are being held in prisons, including Sidah Taiman, Anatot, Ofer Military, and Negev.
Since the Israeli occupation resumed its aggression on Gaza on March 18, 2025, more than 1,480 Palestinians have been martyred, and 3,688 others have been injured.
The death toll in Gaza has risen to 50,846, with the majority being women and children, since the occupation's assault began on October 7, 2023.
