Member of the organization's Central Committee, Bader Ahmad
Jibril, said that Israeli occupation fighter jets launched an air
raid targeting a site of the PFLP-GC.
He added that, in addition to the deaths, there were others
injured, in addition to the considerable material losses at the site.
Media reports suggest the Israeli raid was on Qosya', one of
the Lebanese villages in the Zahle district, where a vehicle belonging to the
PFLP-GC was targeted.
Another PFLP-GC official, the Lebanon-based Abu Wael Issam,
told the AP that his group will retaliate “at the suitable time.” He added that
the strike will not deter his group from “escalating the fight against the
Israeli enemy.”
There was no immediate comment from Israel.
