OCCUPIED JERUSALEM — Israeli Channel 12 revealed that Israeli
families from Kibbutz Be'eri sent an official letter to the Chief of Staff
Herzi Halevi, demanding an investigation to determine whether their relatives
were killed by Israeli artillery shells on October 7, Khaberni reported.

This comes after the high-ranking Israeli officer Barak
Hiram stated to The New York Times that he issued a military order to shell a
house in the Be'eri settlement around the Gaza border, resulting in the death
of 12 settlers, giving the pretext of an elite unit of the
Qassam Brigades taking refuge in the house.
According to the Israeli channel, the families appealed to
the Halevi to conduct an investigation into whether the Israeli tank caused the
death of their relatives, noting that some of them discovered for the first
time from an investigation conducted by Channel 12 that a tank fired several
shells at the house, and it is possible that some settlers were injured by these shells.
The spokesperson for the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF)
Daniel Hagari responded to the news reported by the channel, stating that the
message had been received, and they would respond directly, stating that the
IOF would conduct a detailed and in-depth investigation to determine the
details when the operational situation allows and the results will be published
for the public.
