“Yunis Ghasan Tayeh, 21, was killed by a bullet to
the heart fired by a soldier of the occupation in Al-Fara camp,” between Jenin
and Tubas, in an area that has seen increased Israeli violence in recent weeks.
The resistance movement
Islamic Jihad said he was a
member of their organization.
Israeli forces were there to arrest a wanted person,
they told AFP. They arrested 25 people overnight.
Tayeh is the second Palestinian killed by Israeli
forces in as many days; Israeli occupation forces Tuesday killed Mohammed
Sabaaneh, 29, and wounded 16 others when they entered Jenin in the occupied
West Bank to carry out a home demolition.
Israeli forces have carried out near nightly and
often deadly raids on Palestinian towns and cities.
Human rights activists consider home demolitions a
form of collective punishment, which is illegal under international law.
