AMMAN — On Wednesday, six Palestinians were killed and 67 others were injured, five of them critically, after the Israeli occupation opened fire in a neighborhood in the city of Nablus, according to news outlets.

Large numbers of Israeli occupation forces stormed the Sheikh Muslim neighborhood on the outskirts of the Old City of Nablus on Wednesday, surrounding a house amid heavy gunfire.
Wafa reported that clashes had broken out between Palestinian youth and the Israeli occupation forces, who opened fire and hurled tear gas bombs.
The six victims, killed by Israeli bullets, ranged in age from 14 to 72 years old, according to news outlets.
Ahmed Jibril, director of ambulance and emergency services at the Red Crescent in Nablus, said that the occupation forces had prevented medical staff from reaching the neighborhood.
Bullet wounds, tear gasThe Red Crescent also stated that its crews had managed to transport several patients with bullet injuries to hospitals in the city, and that personnel were responding on the ground to dozens of cases of tear gas suffocation.
Meanwhile, a correspondent for Al-Jazeera said that three journalists were wounded by Israeli bullets while covering the storming of the city of Nablus.
Rafidia Governmental Hospital received 26 patients with bullet wounds, including four serious injuries, while Nablus Specialized Hospital received six of the injured, one in critical condition due to bullet wounds in the abdomen and back. Al-Najah Hospital received four patients injured by bullets, and Al-Ittihad Women's Hospital received three of the injured.
