TEL AVIV — On Saturday, the Israeli newspaper, Yedioth
Ahronoth reported that the Israeli government plans to stop funding the
accommodation of residents from the Gaza Strip border area in hotels, where
they were relocated after the outbreak of the war on the strip, Khaberni
reported.
The newspaper added that the government plans to halt the
‘hotel solution’ next March for economic reasons and to facilitate the return
of Israelis to the towns they left.
It affirmed that the government will continue providing a
grant of 200 shekels per day to these individuals until next July.
