Israeli opposition leader calls Gvir ‘a dangerous clown’

TEL AVIV – The Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth, quoted Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid saying that Itamar Ben-Gvir, the Israeli Minister of National Security, is a “dangerous clown who fuels the flame.” Lapid called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to withdraw Ben-Gvir’s authority. Lapid warned that allowing Ben-Gvir to manage affairs at Al-Aqsa Mosque and occupied Jerusalem during the month of Ramadan would escalate the situation, Khaberni reported.
