Israeli opposition leader warns Netanyahu of launching attack on Rafah

TEL AVIV— On Thursday, Israeli Leader of the Opposition, Yair Lapid warned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against launching a ground invasion in Rafah, southern Gaza, fearing it would jeopardize a potential prisoner exchange deal. In an interview with the Israeli Broadcasting Authority, Lapid urged Netanyahu to immediately reach an agreement with Hamas to release all captives in Gaza.
