TEL AVIV – On Thursday, an Israeli
report stated that a significant portion of the
weapons provided to Israeli settlers in the West Bank have been sold to Palestinian activists. These
weapons have allegedly been used in recent Palestinian resistance operations
within the
occupied Palestinian territories.

The Israeli newspaper Israel
Hayom revealed that the motivation appears to be financial gain, Jo24 reported.
The newspaper notes that after
the events of
October 7, the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) intensified
efforts to control weapon possession within the Palestinian territories.
According to IOF sources, a
total of 1,044
weapon pieces of various types have been seized since the
beginning of October 7, including 822 pieces in Palestinian territories.
In a recent incident near the
Ma’ale Adumim settlement in
occupied Jerusalem, an
IOF soldier was killed, and
eight soldiers and settlers were injured. Two of the wounded are in critical
condition.
Palestinian resistance fighters used an M16 rifle.
This operation in Ma’ale
Adumim comes days after an incident in the
Kiryat Malachi settlement,
resulting in the deaths of two Israeli settlers.
