Israeli strikes intensify: 65 dead, many wounded

GAZA — A new Israeli airstrike on a house in Yibna camp, central Rafah, on Friday has resulted in four more casualties, bringing the death toll to 65.اضافة اعلان

In another development, injuries were reported in an Israeli airstrike targeting a house in Khan Yunis camp, southern Gaza Strip.

Additionally, there is news of a fresh Israeli airstrike near Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip.

Expressing deep regret, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, "I am deeply saddened by the resumption of military operations in Gaza. I still hold hope for the possibility of renewing the humanitarian ceasefire."

On the Israeli side, a government spokesperson remarks, "Northern Gaza remains a war zone, and we are actively working to completely eliminate Hamas."
