— On Friday,
UNRWA reported that Israeli strikes fired at one of its aid convoys
in Gaza. While there were no reported casualties or injuries, the aid convoy
was deliberately targeted.

White, the director of UNRWA in Gaza, stated on X, formerly known as Twitter,
“Israeli soldiers opened fire on an aid convoy returning from northern Gaza
through a route designated by the
Israeli army. The leader of our international
convoy and his team were unharmed, but one of the vehicles sustained damage,”
Al-Mamlaka TV.
He
emphasized, “Humanitarian workers should never be targeted.”
Meanwhile,
Adnan Abu Hasna, the spokesperson for the UNRWA emphasized that
Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) targeted the aid convoy, despite its coordination with
the forces. He added, “We requested assurances of not targeting aid convoys in
Gaza and suspended one.”
Noting,
The Israeli army is pushing all residents of the
Gaza Strip towards Rafah,
which will lead to an escalation of the situation,' according to Abu
Hasna."
