AMMAN — The Jordanian Seismological
Observatory (JSO) recorded an earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale
last night, north of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to a JSO
statement carried by Amman Net.

An official Palestinian TV channel referred
to "a new earthquake that was felt by citizens in different areas of
Palestine".
The depth of the earthquake was 10 km, and
it occurred at a distance of 67 km from Amman, according to the JSO.
