JENIN – On Sunday, Hamas senior political officer, Husam Badran, said that the
escalating resistance in Jenin and throughout the West Bank “will break the
arrogance of the [Israeli] occupation”, Al-Ghad reported.

Badran pointed to the resistance’s steadfastness
against
Israeli Occupation Forces’ attacks on cities in the West Bank, the
latest of which was in Jenin early Sunday. The resistance set up a tight ambush
for the
IOF soldiers on foot and detonated an explosive device in a military
jeep. The IOF later reported the death of one of their soldiers and the injury
of 4 others.
He stressed that the IOF’s commitment to executing
civilians in the West Bank using aerial bombardment and its besiegement on
Al-Aqsa Mosque will only increase the resistance’s determination to confront
and resist.
Badran called on the occupation to learn from its
failure in defeating Hamas in Gaza, despite using all its military power with
unlimited support from its allies, mainly the US.
“The battle of Al-Aqsa Flood is a continuous
process and the struggle of our people is ongoing until they regain their full
rights,” he said.
