The civil disobedience campaign includes a
shutdown of the entrances to the four neighborhoods and a boycott of the
Israeli occupation by all possible means, including refusing to pay taxes and
calling on employees of Israeli employers to strike.
Clashes took place between young men and the
occupation forces on Sunday morning, at the entrances to Al-Isawiya and Jabal
Al-Mukaber after the civil disobedience began, according to Ammon News. No
injuries were reported.
The Palestinian National and Islamic Forces in the
four neighborhoods issued statements in which they rejected the procedures and
violations of the
occupation in Jerusalem, including demolishing homes and
displacing residents, arrests, killings and injuries, and targeting prisoners by
imposing heavy fines on them, storming their homes, confiscating their money
and properties, and seizing their bank accounts.
