AMMAN—Jordan
affirmed its solidarity and absolute support with Saudi Arabia in the face of
all threats to the security the country and its people, expressing its support
for every step taken by Saudi Arabia to protect their security, according to
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.

The spokesman for the
ministry, Ambassador Haitham Abu Al-Ful lauded the Saudi security services in confronting with
determination and firmness anyone who intends to harm the security and
stability of Saudi Arabia, the latest of which was the operation carried out by
the Saudi security services to arrest a wanted man who blew himself up with an
explosive belt, injuring Pakistani resident and 3 Saudi security men with
various injuries.
Abu Al-Ful wished a speedy recovery to the
injured.
On Friday,
the Saudi Press Agency had said that a wanted man blew himself up with an
explosive belt, leading to his death and injuring 4 people, including 3
security men. The incident occurred in Jeddah on Wednesday evening.
