AMMAN — Saudi Arabia has reaffirmed its steadfast commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative, emphasizing its centrality in resolving the Palestinian issue. اضافة اعلان

This reiteration came during the historic visit of the Saudi ambassador to Palestine and the consul-general in Jerusalem, Naif Al-Sudairy, following his meeting with Riyad Al-Maliki, the minister of foreign affairs and expatriates, in Ramallah, Al-Mamlaka reported.

Ties to Palestine
During his visit, Sudairy also took the opportunity to formally present his credentials as Ambassador to Palestine and Consul-General in Jerusalem, signaling Saudi Arabia's intent to establish a consulate in East Jerusalem.

In response, Maliki described the Saudi Ambassador's visit as an "epochal moment" in the enduring relations between Saudi Arabia and Palestine, highlighting its significance in strengthening bilateral ties.

Israeli relations with KSA
Simultaneously, Israel's Minister of Tourism, Hayim Katz, embarked on a historic visit to Saudi Arabia, marking the first official visit of this caliber by an Israeli minister to the Kingdom. Katz's visit coincided with his participation in an event organized by the UN World Tourism Organization in Riyadh, reflecting the evolving dynamics of diplomatic engagement in the region.
