OCCUPIED WEST BANK— Palestinian Prime Minister
Mohammad Mustafa presented the government's work program and proposed lineup to
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to gain confidence according to the Basic
Law for its formation.

Accordingly, the President issued a decree
granting confidence to the 19th government and issued a decree approving its
formation, Al-Mamlaka TV reported.
The government will take the constitutional
oath before the President on Sunday, March 31, 2024.
The government's program emphasized that its
political reference is the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO), its
political program, and its international commitments, as well as the
presidential assignment directed to the government by Mahmoud Abbas.
The government's program includes prioritizing
humanitarian issues, including developing a comprehensive plan for humanitarian
aid and immediate relief for our people in Gaza, recovery and reconstruction
efforts in both Gaza and the West Bank, and focusing efforts on stabilizing the
financial situation and its economic impact.
It also includes plans for institutional
reform, restructuring, institution unification, corruption combat, service
enhancement, digital transformation, and institutional unification and
restructuring between the two parts of the nation.
The government's work program includes a
section on the rule of law, enhancing financial sector integrity, empowering
the judiciary, enhancing security and safety, and ensuring public freedoms.
It also includes enhancing resilience in
occupied Jerusalem, the Jordan Valley, and marginalized areas, continuing to
work to preserve Christian and Islamic sanctities in the city, and developing
plans and programs to reconnect the city with the entire Palestinian fabric.
