Israel's intensified war on the strip has
exacerbated the suffering of civilians, leading to malnutrition due to a lack
of food and baby milk. Consequently, deaths caused by dehydration and
malnutrition are occurring almost daily, especially among infants.
The international organization
"ActionAid" has warned of a total collapse of humanitarian conditions
in the
Gaza Strip, with a quarter of its population now ‘one step away from
starvation.’
A UN official has also stated that a quarter
of the civilian population in Gaza suffers from severe levels of food
insecurity, further noting that one out of six children under two years of age
in the North suffers from severe malnutrition.
