GAZA — According to the Ministry
of Health in Gaza, the death toll in Gaza has surpassed 8,000 since October 7,
2023. Saheeb Al-Hams, the director of Kuwaiti Hospital in Gaza, noted that
providing precise casualty figures is challenging due to the dire conditions in
Gaza. The numbers reported by the Ministry are confirmed through hospitals and
morgues, but the actual count could be higher, as many people are still trapped
under rubble. Hams shared on Sunday that the Red Cross has visited various
hospitals to verify the claims.
