GAZA — According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the death toll in Gaza has surpassed 8,000 since October 7, 2023. Saheeb Al-Hams, the director of Kuwaiti Hospital in Gaza, noted that providing precise casualty figures is challenging due to the dire conditions in Gaza. The numbers reported by the Ministry are confirmed through hospitals and morgues, but the actual count could be higher, as many people are still trapped under rubble. Approaching 20,000 people injuredAdditionally, Bashar Murad, the Executive Director of the Palestinian Red Crescent, pointed out that the number of injuries resulting from Israeli airstrikes is approaching 20,000, with the majority being critical cases and limited treatment options, Al Mamlaka TV reported.

The number of missing persons has increased
Rescue teams are continuing their efforts to extract injured and deceased individuals from the wreckage of targeted houses, buildings, and facilities. The number of missing persons has risen to 1,800, including 1,000 children.
