TEL AVIV –
On Tuesday, The Israeli Occupation Forces reported that there have been more
than 1,000 officers and soldiers injured since October 7, with 202 sustaining
severe wounds, as reported by Al-Ghad and Haaretz.
Haaretz
pressed the Israeli army to disclose the injury numbers after some reports
leaked from hospitals. Unlike previous wars, Israeli military censorship
imposed strict restrictions to prevent the leakage of information about wounded
soldiers.
Yedioth
Ahronoth also reported on Monday that the Israeli army operates in nearly 20
percent of Gaza during its ground operation.
